What is a concession stand?
A Steger Beach concession stand is where you need to go for daily beach rentals, online beach rental check in, all customer service questions, and ice cold drinks. Come here first to check in and get your beach rentals set up by our staff at the beach location of your choice.
Only some of our Cape May beach locations are fully featured concession stands, but we provide customer service to all beach locations through the closest stand. If you are at the beach, but don’t see a Steger Beach staff member, just take a short walk to the nearest stand to get help with whatever you need.

What is a beach location?
A beach location is one of our designated beach service areas. All beach locations are available for our staff to set up your beach rentals. All beach locations also have beach box areas for storage, and many have our Victorian Cabanas available for daily or weekly rental.

What to expect with self-service?
Typically in the beginning or end of the season, some days our staff covers multiple locations during the day. If no one is available at the concession stand, and a self-service sign is placed, you can set up your own rentals.
If you set up your own rentals, our attendant will come to your location on the beach to process payment when they return to the concession stand.
What about beach wheelchairs?
Steger Beach Service does not have access to beach wheelchairs, reach out to the Cape May Beach Tag Office or Cape May Beach Patrol (609) 884-9522 and 609-884-9520
01 - COVE BEACH STAND
Located at the west end of Beach Avenue. Restrooms available. Surfboard rentals are available.
04 - BROADWAY BEACH STAND
Located at Broadway and Beach Avenue, in front of Broadway Grill. Public Restrooms available.
06 - GRANT ST West.
Located at Grant Street West, in front of the Ocean View Diner. Public restrooms available.
07 - WINDSOR AVE.
Located off Windsor Ave. beach access. Beach boxes in this location begin near the Beach Patrol Headquarters and end at Windsor Ave. Cabanas are available. Closest public restrooms are located at Grant Street West.
10 - STEGER BEACH STAND
Between Jackson St. and Perry St.. In front of South End Surf Shop, next to the arcade. Handicapped accessible. This stand services cabanas and rentals at both Perry St. and Jackson St. Beach. Closet public restrooms are located by Cape May Beach Tag Office. 704 Beach Ave Cape May, NJ 08204
